Cycling knee pain is really common....and really stubborn. My name is John Weirath and I've been a physical therapist and bike fitter for over 20 years. I built this entire site with the purpose of helping cyclists solve some of their own bike fit issues.I'll let you in on a secret: Knee pain on the bike is often not the fault of the knee at all. Usually some other simple aspect of the setup on the bike is the culprit -- the saddle height is off a little, the cleat is misplaced -- this is where bike fit principles come in.

This helped me fix the knee pain that started this spring...

Luckily most knee issues can be solved by just making a simple correction or two, but we need to understand what fixes to make. I can show you how to read the symptoms you're having and find the right solutions , even if you have no real cycling mechanics knowledge. This easy to follow program has helped hundreds of cyclists and their bike fitters find solutions to the most stubborn knee issues.

Finally I'm able to ride pain free...

To get you started, I'm going to include an important first step...how to perform your own bike fit measurements. This is not a strictly necessary step but one that I recommend. Don't worry, you don't need to know how to do a complete bike fit (if you did, you probably wouldn't be here!) We just need to get some basic joint measurementsNow, I'm going to include the first two sections of the Knee program for free, but if you want to check out the Video Bike Fit articles then go to this link and sign up (for free) as a basic member. Then you can come back to this window and continue on to view those two sections and get started. And don't worry, I'll put links to the Video Bike Fit Program on the next page too.
