Some cyclists prefer to look at the pedal stroke from the standpoint of how "round" the pedal stroke is. Is the cyclist putting power to the pedals in the most efficient way? The debate will often venture into whether the rider should pull up on the backstroke or not.In this video I take a slightly different tack and go into the small mechanical nuances we ought to see in a solid pedal stroke. Specifically what the position of the foot and ankle ought to be in at various positions.
